With its waterside restaurants and cafés, Saint-Zotique is a lovely destination on the banks of Lac Saint-François. Artificial canals run for 12 kilometres behind homes, allowing residents and visitors to practice water sports and reach the lake easily; it is also a beautiful and unique sight. In town, the modern library, the Maison du Citoyen, and indoor rink serve many needs and host cultural and sports events. Outside, the pristine and eco-friendly beach is popular with visitors from Montréal and eastern Ontario, who profit from the pools, play areas, and picnic tables. Hit the beach or take a bike ride on the town’s wooded bike path.
