In this exhibition, the objects in the Museum’s collection are pretexts to illustrate many expressions of our heritage. The language of Quebec is alive, colorful, tasty, dynamic and stuck to the reality we live every day. Thus, the phrase “Tiens ben ta tuquee” refers to sledding on the snow, Niaise pas avec le puck at our national sport or Être Seraphin to the famous character of the Pays d’en Haut. The oral and material heritage blend well and whether they come from a bygone era or are still alive, the expressions of all times are used as thieves at fair. For pleasure or to learn a little, we would never dare to speak through our hat …
Presentation is held in French.
