Extending over 35 kilometres, the Soulanges bike path is known across the province for the quality of its routes and the diverse landscapes that surround it. Its entire length is paved and well-maintained, the multi-use path crosses wooded areas, fields, and wetlands from Pointe-des-Cascades to Rivière-Beaudette, where it ends just at the border with Ontario; it is also the best way to explore the jewel of the region, the Soulanges Canal.
Only a few kilometres from the island of Montreal, reachable by the Ontario Waterfront Trail, and accessible by two water shuttles (Les Cèdres et Les Coteaux), the Soulanges Bike Path is the perfect setting for a family day outside or for a serious ride.
For adventurous cyclists, try out the Soulanges Canal cycling route (In French only) that borrows 22 of the 35 km Soulanges canal cycling path.
