Opening of the 2020 season: Wednesday July 8!

During the summer, it is now possible to experience the canal in a whole new way! Paddling!

In downtown Coteau-du-Lac, directly on the Soulanges bicycle path, a rental container for non-motorized boats is installed. Perfect for cooling off on hot summer days! There are single, double kayaks and paddle boards (SUP).

Prices (for one hour rental) : special prices for the 2020 season

  • Single boats: $ 10
  • Double boats: $ 15
  • New! “Jeudis des jeunes”: $ 5 per hour for young people aged 17 and under (single boat)*.

Important information :

  • As we are adopting a “paperless” method for 2020, each participant 16 years old ans over must present a valid ID (driver’s license or health insurance) in order to proceed with the rental. The presentation of an identity document fulfills the function of signature
  • Identity documents are kept at the kiosk for the duration of the rental
  • *At all time, children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent for rental. Parents who cannot be present can authorize another adult to accompany their child by completing the following form: Autorisation parentale
  • Last rental 60 minutes before closing
  • Please respect the sanitary indications on the site
  • Preferred credit card payment
  • Please remember to bring sunscreen, a bottle of water, a snack and appropriate clothing

Opening period

From July 8th 2020 to Labour Day. The kiosk is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed when weather conditions are unfavorable.
