Set against the backdrop of stunning Rigaud Mountain, Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes is a pilgrimage site of rare beauty. Since 1874, the spiritual tradition of the site has passed from generation to generation.
Bernadette’s vision of the Virgin Mary found an echo in the heart of Ludger Pauzé, a brother at Collège Bourget. He placed a statue of the Virgin in a quiet corner of the mountain, from which sprang the chapel.
Now, this historic spiritual site overlooks the village of Rigaud, the Ottawa River, and the rich landscape of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
